THE FLEXIBLE ARCHITECTURE

NewsPage has its very own framework called NewsPage Mobility Framework (NPMF). The NPMF technology has been developed such that the application is de-coupled from the operating system technology platform. What this means, is that technology and the business logic is separated and not intertwined. This allows for business process/logic to be improved when necessary without worrying on the impact to the technology portion.

The mobile application source files are coded in XML and is able to be compiled to various operating systems such as Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Pocket PC, Windows XP etc, without the need to rebuild the entire application.

Therefore, when our customers need to upgrade the handheld device due to device end-of-line, they need not worry if the application will work as NewsPage will re-compile the XML file and then download to the handheld and business is as usual.

We provide and take care off all the above. Our customer only has to worry about their business process/application logic.

NewsPage's NPMF provides our customers with a Technology Obsolescence protection. With this, the application investment can be perpetually amortised and provide the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) possible in the long run. The customer will also be able to enjoy the benefit of migrating to other more cost-effective or latest hardware device, platforms and data communication technologies.
